Eaton MTL7741 Intrinsic Safety Barrier for ATEX Digital Input 24V DC Output
MTL7741 | Instruments | Proximity Detector Interface
The MTL7741 is a 1 Channel Zener Barrier serving as an Intrinsic Safety Barrier with Digital Input for ATEX applications. All MTL7700 series Zener barriers follow consistent design principles, with each channel featuring a secondary pulse detecting Zener or forward connecting diode and a reliable terminating resistor.
In case of electrical faults in the safety zone, the diode limits hazardous area voltage while the resistor provides current limiting. A fuse protects the diode, and a two-stage voltage limiting function ensures continuous protection. Certified "ia" for all zones and "IIC" for all explosive atmospheres.
