The process indicator is available with either 4 to 20 mA or HART® protocol. In the HART® version, up to four measured values from a single sensor can be indicated in alternation. The indicator can be configured as a primary or secondary HART® master and actively queries values from the sensor.
A key advantage is its small voltage drop of less than 1 V (less than 1.9 V with HART®), which is particularly beneficial in Ex applications where only a reduced voltage is available.
