These sensors monitor casing vibration in large and medium-sized rotating machinery, including steam turbines, water turbines, fans, compressors, turboexpanders, motors, generators, exciters, gearboxes, and water pumps. The Accelerometer 200150 works exclusively with compatible Transducer Interface Modules (TIMs) in the Trendmaster Pro quasi-continuous online condition monitoring system. For machines with slower rotational speeds, use the 200155 accelerometer with a properly configured proTIM. For acceleration envelope applications, use the 200157 accelerometer with a properly configured proTIM.
The piezoelectric sensing device in 20015x series accelerometers generates electric charge when subjected to vibration. These housed seismic sensors feature a wide frequency range and convert charge to differential voltage signals proportional to acceleration when used with Trendmaster® proTIMs.
